4-H Camps

Some language on 4-H Summer Camps... Youth do not need to be enrolled in 4-H to participate in either the 4-H Summer Camps or he Big Red Summer Academic Camps.

4-H Summer Camps

The Nebraska 4-H Summer Camps provide youth a place to discover, learn, and grow. Camps are offered for ages 5-18 with a wide variety of activities and topic. Camps are held at one of the two Nebraska 4-H Camps and Centers: Nebraska State 4-H Camp and Eastern Nebraska 4-H Center.

Big Red Summer Academic Camps

Big Red Summer Academic Camps are residential, career exploration camps held at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for youth in grade 10-12. By participating in a camp youth get the opportunity to explore the UNL campus, meet people from across the country, spend time investigating an interest or potential career, and have a lot of fun!


4-H Camp Centers

Nebraska 4-H Camps and Centers provide unique educational opportunities that empower people of all ages to be active in the pursuit of self-improvement in a safe, inclusive, and fun environment. At each location, programs, events, and experiences are offered to empower youth to reach their full potential, working and learning in partnership with caring adults. The Nebraska 4-H Camp Centers host Summer CampGroup Team BuildingSpecial Events, and Outdoor Education.

Nebraska State 4-H Camp

The Nebraska State 4-H Camp is located within the Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands near Halsey, Nebraska. The Nebraska State 4-H Camp has been serving the youth of Nebraska since 1959.

Eastern Nebraska 4-H Center

The Eastern Nebraska 4-H Center is located near Gretna, Nebraska, adjacent to Schramm Park State Recreation Area on a bluff overlooking the Platte River. This natural oak/hickory forest and tall-grass prairie provide a pleasant, peaceful environment for any gathering.
