What
does 4-H camp summer program staff do?
By joining
our team, you will help deliver cutting-edge youth development curriculum
and programs of the University of Nebraska. Our camps are unique
in that unlike any other camps in Nebraska, we bring the expertise
of the University to the level of kids. As summer program staff,
you will be trained to help provide active, hands-on, fun and cooperative
outdoor programming designed to develop respect for self, others
and the environment.
Summer program
staff plan, direct and supervise daily and cabin activities and
maintain standards that lead to a quality and safe program. You’ll
learn to lead canoeing, tubing, swimming, rappelling, climbing,
zip line, ropes course, shooting sports, arts, biking, environment
education, campfire, backpacking, fishing and many more programs.
Our camps are
open to all youth. We hire a team who will help our campers grow
up to be the absolute best they can be! |
What
is the salary?
First-year
staff earn a minimum of $30/day plus room and board. Over the entire
summer, program staff can earn $1,500-$2,500 depending upon days
off and camp schedules. |
