4-H Day Camps introduce youth ages 5-8 to the possibilities of just how much fun 4-H Camp can be when they’re just a little bit older. Meet the camp staff; discover camp traditions, ceremonies and activities that make 4-H Camp awesome!

As many chaperones (with camera) as you like are encouraged — but not required — to attend. Bring Mom, Dad, Grandma, and Granddad or any adult mentor. They will have a blast, too! NOTE: Lunch is included for one chaperone in the camp fee even if a chaperone does not attend. Any additional chaperones will be charged $5 for lunch.

Kids-N-Games

Location: Eastern NE 4-H Center, Gretna

Outside and inside games galore! The camp staff has special games and challenges ready to go. Lots of running, laughing and having a blast! You’re gonna get messy at this camp. Bring some old clothes, a change of shoes and a swimsuit. We'll go down the water slide, enjoy water limbo, and get M-U-D-D-Y creek stopming! Ewwww!

Kids - N - Critters

Location: Eastern 4-H Center, Gretna

Adventure, exploration and discovery waits as our University of Nebraska– Lincoln Extension "snake guy" brings every snake that lives in Sarpy County to camp for this one-day event. Ya get to really touch 'em. We'll also have some totally astounding bugs from the UNL Entomology Department. You will discover all kinds of totally cool wonders of nature and critters. You will also spend some time at the Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium exploring their aquatic world. Way cool!!

Kids-N-Fishin’

Location: Eastern 4-H Center, Gretna

Lots of fishin’ and fun! Our staff will be instructors from the Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium for this exciting day. We will tour the Aquarium, fish in the fish hatchery ponds and get some canoeing in. We will also play some games and head down the water slide so bring your swimsuit. If you like to fish (or think you might) this camp is meant for you!

Get giggly with goofy games such as Gau Gau and Whomper! You’ll play lots of krazy camp games and sing some songs too! Our favorite games involve getting loud and krazy. Come ready to run, jump and sing your hearts out. You’ll also have the opportunity to take a trip down the water slide or participate in a creek stomp so bring your swimsuit!

Wet - N - Wild

Location: Eastern 4-H Center, Gretna

Wet-N-Wild is the theme for this splash bash! Bring some old clothes, a change of shoes and a swimsuit. Cool off on the water slide and learn the basics of canoeing, fishing and watercolor arts. Get M-U-D-D-Y stomping down the creek. We'll will cool off with a water party. Awesome, dude!
