Explorers - Ages 8-11

At all three locations, these introductory three-day samplers are loaded with adventures to explore! Try out the T.R.U.S.T. Course, paddle a canoe, sample shooting sports, slip down the water slide, go Gau Gau and get muddy on a creek stomp!

 

Zoo Bound

Location: Eastern NE 4-H Center, Gretna

International Friends

You'll spend a night in the Henry Doorly Zoo (already reserved) for some Nocturnal Ed-zoo-cation. Cool, too cool! We’ll take an after-dark zoo tour. We will get to spend the entire morning of the next day there as well. Don’t forget we will also be doing camp stuff such as the zip line and Gau Gau. These sessions fill fast, so sign up today. A great time!

 

 

We Got Skills - Outdoor Skills!

Location: South Central 4-H Center, Alma

Tune up your outdoor skills while exploring the natural habitat of Nebraska wildlife. Learn about archery, fishing and wildlife identification. Test your skills at shooting sports, canoeing and on the T.R.U.S.T. course! Come meet new friends and learn new games for a summer of fun.

 

 

Aerospace Bound

New this year, a lock-in at the Strategic Air and Space Museum. How much do you know about the history of flight and the United States Air Force? Find out during the museum's unique scavenger hunt and a personally guided tour. A Flight-astic experience!

 

 
Aquatic Blast
Location: Eastern NE 4-H Camp, Gretna

If there’s water around, we’ll be in it! You’ll attend exclusive morning 4-H Camp parties at Mahoney State Park Water Park, including their wave pool and HUGE water slide. At camp you'll play some mud Gau Gau and get muddy with creek stomping. You’ll be slipping down the water slide during the day, polar bear sliding in the early morning. A soaking experience!


 
Survivor SC Style
Location: South Central 4-H Center, Alma

A new twist to survivor this year! Can you really survive the oudoors at South Central? Eat in the lodge or rough it outdoors? Have you ever seen a pig run that fast? Imagination wondering yet? We'll throw in new games and races but won't forget the T.R.U.S.T. course, campfire, Gau Gau and fishing. If you think you can hack it, sign up today!

Oooooh, what is it? Don't know!!!! Come to the camp of finding out. What's that smell? How'd they do that? Discover these answers and more through our awesome experiments! We'll also get in the other activities like the tubing, zip line and the T.R.U.S.T. course. You will also be able to enjoy our "WHAT IS IT?" lunch. Let's get the date set! 


Aquatic Adventure

Location: South Central 4-H Center, Alma

If you love the water, then this camp is for you! Join us for a wet-n-wild three days as we play water games, slide down the water slide and swim at the pool. Back at camp we’ll get wet and muddy in the Gau Gau pit and we’ll head to the lake for canoeing, fishing and learning about life in the water. A “splashing” good time!

 

 

Nighttime Navigations

Location: South Central 4-H Center, Alma

More of a night owl that an early bird? Then this camp is for you. We'll sleep in and then enjoy camp in a new light...or no light at all! Don't forget Gau Gau, canoeing and the T.R.U.S.T. course. But when the moon is high, that is when the fun begins. If it's more fun at night, we have it here! Campfire brings on a whole new meaning when it STARTS the activities!


Tank & Tube the Loup

Location: State 4-H Camp, Halsey

Take a Tank Trip is back with MORE! After an afternoon of tanking, we will have a river stomp and an unforgetable campfire before settling down in tents beside the river. Breakfast will be over the fire before we head back to camp to take a ride down the zip line or sail across the high wires. Tube during the hot afternoon and take a trip down the new water slide. Be ready to get wet and have a blast this summer!
