About CyberFair

In 2001 the 4-H CyberFair become a reality at the Nebraska State Fair. Through the use of hands-on cutting edge technology exhibits, families are encouraged to explore and interact with exhibits relating to 4-H curriculum. The curriculum areas highlighted at CyberFair are:

• Animal Science
• Communication & Expressive Arts
• Consumer & Family Science
• Healthy Lifestyles
• Environmental Education & Earth Science
• Leadership & Citizenship
• Plant Science
• Science & Technology

Dell Computers – Whether checking your email, surfing the net, or just learning about the latest software available, this event is for you!

Robotics – Explore the world of LEGO Mindstorm robotics. During the CyberFair 2007 there will be a Robotics Challenge where teams will plan, develop, and test their robot on a challenge course against the other teams in the competition.

Operation Military Kids (OMK) – Send E-cards and video podcasts to troops overseas in Iraq.

Although the main objective of CyberFair has stayed the same, this event continues to change and evolve. As the 4-H Motto goes, each year we strive to “make the best better” and CyberFair 2007 is no exception.

Xavix – A revolutionary way to interact with your TV. Activities include:
• Powerboxing
• Golf
• Bowling
• Tennis
• Baseball
• Bass fishing
• J-Mat
• Lifestyle Manager


Nebraska Entrepreneurs – Have the opportunity to talk to entrepreneurs in Nebraska and find out the secrets to their success.

UNL Animal Science Bovine 3-D Glasses – Back by popular demand. This activity, which amazed the audience, was introduced at CyberFair 2006. Join us to view bovine from the inside out.

Shooting Sports – Back by popular demand, this event is a virtual display to test your shooting skills.
