The research we had conducted by the Gallup® Poll states that  greater than 60% of young people wanted to consider owning or starting a business of their own and that over 80% of parents wanted this direction for  their children as well.  Interest in entrepreneurship begins at a young  age.  Support and education needs to begin at a young age as well.  ESI will greatly assist with the skills, knowledge and mindset that  supports entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurish environment in Nebraska. Furthermore, the relevance of the study  of the process of our dynamic economy and quality of life on a local level will promote greater  school and community engagement on the part of students, their families and  community leaders.
