Represent the UNL Extension 4-H Youth Development Program by volunteering to be inside and to escort Lil' Green, the 4-H mascot, at the 2007 Nebraska State Fair!

4-H youth and/or adult volunteers from across the state who meet the following mascot requirements are encouraged to help:

• Youth participant or adult volunteer in the UNL Extension 4-H Youth Development Program
  
• Age 14+
  
• Height between 5’3” and 6’3”
  
• Waistline of 38" or less
  
• Ability to physically endure being inside a mascot up to one hour
  
• Energetic and willing to interact with fair-goers of all ages in a positive manner

Prior to their shift, mascot volunteers will be given mascot training handouts that address the preparation, behavior, entering, and entertaining while inside the mascot, as well as behavior for outside the mascot.

Each mascot volunteer will also be provided a State Fair pass, as well as a 2007 State Fair exhibitor t-shirt.

Two volunteers will be sought for the time frames listed below. Both volunteers will have an opportunity to be inside the mascot, if they prefer. Time frame preference will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
