DESCRIPTION:
National Judging Contests are held in conjunction with a number of livestock oriented shows and events across the country. Award trips are provided to teams or selected individuals who represent Nebraska in these contests. Contest rules and regulations are available on request and will be sent to the counties with national/regional contestants.  For specific rules governing eligibility for National 4-H judging contests, check the 4-H Policy Handbook.

OBJECTIVES:
To encourage youth to participate in 4-H judging and other project activities; to provide recognition and national competition for judging participants who have excelled in state competition.

The Nebraska 4-H Foundation provides some support for these trips. However, those attending will also have to secure additional sponsors and/or bear some expenses themselves.
