The 4-H Livestock Advisory Council consists of two county Extension
staff and one youth or adult volunteer per Extension District. Additional
members include a State 4-H Specialist, and Animal Science Extension
Speicialist, the Youth Animal Science Extension Specialist and the Extension
Ag Program Leader. County staff and adult volunteers serve three year
terms, youth serve two year terms.
The
council meets twice per year to discuss issues related to livestock
policy, such as show regulations, quality assurance requirements, PASE
events, general 4-H policies that relate to livestock and other items.
Staff and volunteers are welcome to contact any advisory council members
with comments or concerns.
