4-H Horse Advancement Levels - - information for determining skill levels

The Camps are targeted for high-school age students who have completed their eighth grade year at the time of the camp. The camps will be held at R.B. Warren Arena at UNL Animal Science in Lincoln. Two sessions are available:

Session 1 . . . . . June 4 - 7

Participants need to have passed Level 3 of the 4-H Horse Project Advancement Levels (4-H 426) or be proficient in skills equal to Level 3. Limit of 14 participants.

Session 2 . . . . . June 8 - 11

Participants need to have passed Level 2 of the 4-H Horse Project Advancement Levels (4-H 426) or be proficient in skills equal to Level 2. Limit of 14 participants.

Camp registration fee is $300. A $100 deposit is due with the application form with the balance due after notification. Those applicants not chosen to participate in the camp will have the deposit fee refunded.

Applications are due by April 29th. Applications will be reviewed, and those accepted to the camp will be notified around May 1st.
