4-H professional development opportunities for our staff and volunteers happen throughout the system. I have developed a planning tool that will help us better organize, promote, and support these opportunities. If you, as an individual or part of a group, will conduct professional development activities on behalf of Nebraska 4-H, I am asking you to submit the attached form. Please submit the form as soon as discussion about the professional development begins. You can update the information as planning proceeds. I will also accept requests for professional development topics so we can better meet your needs. I will coordinate a calendar of opportunities on our 4-H website. This is not a one time request. Please submit these forms from now on, whenever you are involved in professional development planning. The first calendar will be posted on August 1, 2007. Each group, committee, and team will be responsible for submitting information on a regular basis.
