4-H Youth Development

The 4-H Youth Development Program in Nebraska is sponsored by University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension, a division of the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources (IANR).  Nationally, it is part of the National Institute of Food and Agriculture in the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).  Local UNL Extension staff lead educational youth programs through 4-H Clubs, school enrichment, and afterschool settings, within their communities.  They are supported, in part, by county commissioners.
