Eastern Nebraska 4-H Center

From the North, East or West: Take Highway 31 South from I-80 (exit 432) 5 miles to the Center.

 

From the South: Follow Highway 50 North from Louisville across the Platte River. Turn left on Highway 31 and go 6 miles to the center.

Note: Our driveway is separate from the Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium and Schramm Park entrances.

State 4-H Camp

From the East: Go one mile west from Halsey on Highway 2 until you reach the Nebraska National Forest entrance. Enter the forest and follow the 4-H signs until you reach the Nebraska State 4-H Camp.

From the West: Go 15 miles east from Thedford on Highway 2 until you reach the Nebraska National Forest entrance. Enter the forest and follow the 4-H signs until you reach the Nebraska State 4-H Camp.

State 4-H Camp

South Central 4-H Camp 

From Interstate 80 going West:  Take Minden Exit 279 south on Highway 10 to Highway 136 (Franklin, Nebraska).  Travel west on Highway 136 to Republican City.  From Republican city:  Drive west 3 miles on Highway 136 to a white South Central Camp sign (Corp. Rd 23).  See "Detailed Directions" below. 

From Interstate 80 going East:  Take the Elm Creek/Holdrege Exit 257 south to Highway 183.  Continue on Highway 183 to Alma.  From Alma, drive east 5 miles on Highway 136 to the white South Central sign (Corp. Rd 23).  See "Detailed Directions" below. 

Detailed Directions:  Go south 1 mile on Corp. Rd 23 over the rail road tracks.  At the stop sign, turn east (left) on Corp. Rd B and go ½ mile to Corp. Rd 24. Turn south (right) on Corp. Rd 24, which has a green and yellow South Central camp sign.  Drive to the camp driveway, which is on the left.
