Lesson's in the "Making Cents of It!" curriculum will provide an opportunity for 2nd and 3rd grade youth to gain an understanding of money. Youth will learn about the history of money, where money comes from, and recognize different denominations of currency and coin. Children will count and identify money, discuss wants and needs, experience goal setting and learn about savings. Youth will also learn key terms, develop good consumer buying skills and will actively participate in making purchases.
