  • Broadcasting and the Weather (located on the sidewalk north of NEU)
    Join Bill Rentschler from 1011 News for a Q&A discussion on broadcasting, camera technology, film editing, and the WeatherShield vehicle! 
  • Digital Video Session (located in DINS - Room 211)
    Learn about videos and storytelling with Angela Abts in a digital workshop!
  • Social Media Workshop (located in DINS - Room 217) 
    Learn about your online identity, how to think of yourself as a brand, and build an audience in this workshop presented by the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.
  • College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Tour (located at the East Campus Visitors Center) 
    Meet in the East Campus Visitor's Center for a guided tour of East Campus and learn more about what CASNR can offer you!
  • College Parent 101 Learning Session (located in DINS - Room 205E) 
    Join Greg Fritz for tips and resources to help you and your family successfully navigate planning for the college experience. Learn how Nebraska will help your student succeed in and out of the classroom, apply for scholarships and financial aid, and stay on track for move-in day!
  • IANR Media Production Set Tour (located in ACB - Room 206) 
    Learn more about media production by exploring the set for Market Journal and other Extension and 4-H videos! Experience a simulated news segment, read from a teleprompter, try your weather forecasting skills in front of the green screen, and learn how the control room switches between cameras to make it all happen!

  • PCE Scavenger Hunt (located throughout East Campus)
    Complete the East Campus PCE Scavenger Hunt for a prize!
  • Visit the UNL Dairy Store (located in the Food Industry Complex)
    The Dairy Store is proud to offer premium handmade dairy products available for purchase as a part of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln since 1917. Products include declicious ice creams, cheeses and meats, handmade by UNL students in the on-site plant.
  • Visit the Backyard Farmer East Campus Garden (located outside of Keim Hall and Teaching Greenhouse)
    Stroll through the Gardens of East Campus and take in the beauty of the Backyard Farmer.
  • Participate in Yard Game Activities (located in CASNR Courtyard to the south of GNHS)
    Need a fun break? Grab a group of friends and head outsdie to play some familiar yard games!
