Nebraska 4-H Thrive Lab
The 4-H Thrive Lab was established in 2021 and is now located in the Stone Family Experiential Learning Hub on East Campus. In five years, it has provided 36 interns with unique opportunities to work with diverse audiences, learn about careers in Extension, and develop their knowledge and skills by working alongside 4-H professionals. In 2024, 94% of our interns reported developing skills they will use in future jobs, and 72% explored new paths, such as careers in Extension.
"My favorite part about being a student intern is seeing the behind the scenes of so many things I participated in while I was in 4-H. I also like getting to help staff on different projects." — 2024 intern
