  • A Toolkit for Volunteer Leaders is a resource used to prepare non-formal educators and volunteers for working in educational programs outside the traditional school system. 
  • The We Protect Staff, Volunteer & Youth Nebraska Chaperone Training is required for all UNL Extension staff and volunteer who are chaperoning 4-H members during 4-H overnight educational events and activities. The online, self-directed training course can be accessed at For help enrolling, please see the enrollment instructions handout.
  • The Fast Track Volunteer Training modules help you get on the right track to a valuable experience as a 4-H volunteer. The modules will help you understand the 4-H program and guide you to resources to help you be the best volunteer you can be.

AgCiting Science App

AgCiting Science Adventure

The AgCiting Science web-based app is available for use in school enrichment programs, afterschool programs, and beyond. Through the AgCiting Adventure, students use basic agriculture production practices to complete the growth and harvest of the components of their breakfast. While gaining agricultural literacy knowledge participants utilize math, motor, and problem-solving skills to follow a recipe.

At each stage of the game you will be able to enter the workforce, get additional education, or explore training programs.
