TARGET: NMLRA Bottle Target (TG2427), and NMLRA Haffner Combination Target (TG901)
DISTANCE: 25 yards
COURSE OF FIRE:
- Bottles: 2 shots in each scoring bottle. Bottom 5 bottles ONLY for scoring.
- Critters: 2 shots in each of the 5 animals targets.
TIME LIMIT: 5-minute prep time set up a muzzle loading station.
- Bottles: 35-minutes, 10 record shots, 2 on each scoring bottle (bottom 5 bottles).
- Critters: 35-minutes, 10 record shots, 2 on each critter.
- Unlimited sight-in shots allowed on a sighter target.
SCORING:
- Bottles: As outlined on the target. Completely within neck-10 pts; nicking the neck-7 pts; within body-5 pts; nicking the body-3 pts. Bottom 5 bottles will be used as scoring targets.
- Edge of ball for score. If challenged an overlay will be used for shot in question.
- Haffner: Highest scoring area touched by ball. X closest to animal’s eye will be used for scoring.
- Edge of ball for score. If challenged an overlay will be used for shot in question.
