Exhibitors should stop 2 – 3 feet from the judge. Judges may also signal the exhibitor to stop. Most breeds should stop and stand with all four feet square. Exhibitors should not use hands to move a dog’s feet. At the direction of the judge, exhibitors are usually asked to make a large circle around the outer edge of the ring before moving back into the line.
