The judge will examine each dog individually for grooming and condition. When setting up the dog for the individual examination or when in line, try to stack or position the dog according to the dog’s body type and breed standard. Mixed breeds should be positioned according to the breed the dog most closely resembles. A table should be available for small dogs.
Each exhibitor and dog will be asked to do one of the following patterns chosen by the judge. 4-H members should be familiar with all the patterns designated for each age division and should follow the judge’s direction.
