Meat Throwing Challenge
Youth mix ground meat to extract the proteins that help it bind together, then test their results by seeing how well their sample sticks when thrown at a wall. Yes, that’s right…we will throw meat at a wall! It’s a fun, hands-on way to introduce youth to the world of meat science.

AG 360: Exploring Hawaii, Alaska, and Nebraska in VR
Join this FUN exploration of agriculture and technology through the creation of virtual reality (VR) tours. Participants will learn about local agriculture as well as Hawaii and Alaska agricultural practices.

Explore the Incredibly Impressive Insect Zoo
Visit the Insect Zoo and take a peek at our variety of insects and arthropods. Spend time watching live arthropods, such as Death Feigning Beetles, Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, and Vinegarroons. Or look at our pinned specimen to see butterflies, stick bugs, and dragonflies from all over the world. You are welcome to hang around for as long as you want to explore and ask questions about the tiny organisms that keep our world running!

UNL PGA Golf Management Department: Golf Simulator
The University of Nebraska is one of 16 Universities in the entire country that is accredited by the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA). This activity will take you inside their learning lab where you'll get to hit golf balls on some of the newest technology in the game.

Husker Bowling
Take a break and bowl where the eight-time national champion Nebraska Cornhuskers compete!

Awards and Ice Cream!
We will recognize winners in Meats Judging, Companion Animal Challenge, and Quiz Bowl at 4:45 p.m. All youth participants will receive a coupon for an ice cream cone or cup to enjoy at any time that day — or bring it along to the awards ceremony!

Champions of Animal Science: A 4‑H Celebration with Nebraska Farm Bureau
Join us for a fun and festive picnic celebrating the hard work and accomplishments of Nebraska 4-H youth participating in animal science contests. Enjoy great food, activities, and recognition of outstanding participants in Poultry Judging, Animal Welfare Judging, and the Livestock Skill-a-thon. This event is sponsored by Nebraska Farm Bureau.

4-H PASE Night with the Lincoln Saltdogs!
Join us for a fun night at the ballpark! On Wednesday evening, we’ll head to Haymarket Park to watch the Lincoln Saltdogs. One lucky 4-H youth will throw out the first pitch! Discounted tickets are available using code PASE at check-out. Tickets are not included for youth or volunteers.
