This month’s Spark Start highlights August activities on CLOVER by 4-H that focus on what it means to be a good friend and build positive, healthy relationships.

Through the Who Makes a Good Friend? activity, youth in grades 3–8 will identify qualities of supportive friendships, learn how friends can influence decisions, and discover ways to navigate negative peer pressure. 

Participants will also reflect on how they can be a positive influence in the lives of others.

This month's Spark Start highlights July activities on CLOVER by 4-H that focus on life in space as an astronaut.

Through hands-on learning about growing food in outer space, operating lunar terrain vehicle, and experiencing a day in the life of astronaut, youth will join astronaut Isabella Hernandez on this journey.
