OMAHA, Neb. (Sept. 24, 2025) – From October 1 - November 4, 2025, 4-H and Casey’s are joining forces to strengthen the communities they call home. With more than 2,900 stores across the Midwest and South, and more than 2.5 million active 4-H’ers in those areas, this partnership is helping more young people become Beyond Ready to lead and to give back -- locally and beyond.
4-H youth from Douglas/Sarpy Counties joined Casey’s personnel, along with staff from National 4-H Council, Nebraska Extension 4-H Youth Development, and the Nebraska 4-H Foundation, to participate in the 4-H + Casey’s promotion kickoff at the largest Omaha Casey’s store on Wednesday, September 24.
As a part of the kickoff, 4-H’ers received a behind-the-scenes look at Casey’s operations. They toured storage and maintenance areas, coolers, and backstock; learned about inventory systems, order placement, and store layout; explored the kitchen to experience food preparation firsthand; and even made their own Casey’s pizzas. Youth also participated in activities like shelf-stocking for visual appeal and a scavenger hunt designed to reinforce their learning.
