State 4-H Horse Photography Contest will have an elementary division, junrio division, and senior division. Contestants must not have participate in official post-secondary competitive events of a similar nature in the same subject matter area.
The objective of the contest is to encourage youth to broaden their horizons and utilize creative talent within the Horse Project.
The project should reflect an awareness of the Horse Project through exhibition of photography in these categories:
- Careers with horses
- Horse health and/or nutrition
- Good husbandry/grooming
- Training and showing
- Human-horse bond
- Horse service or citizenship
