Premier Science Award
The Premier Science Award is open to any 4-H member with at least one static exhibit selected for State Fair. Exhibitors may select one exhibit from any project area/department to complete their awards application about. An award application should be completed and turned in to the county Extension office by the county's deadline. Up to three top exhibits will be chosen to receive a $100 cash award.
Static Exhibit Entry
All static exhibits will be entered by county Extension staff.
Static Exhibit Release
All static exhibits will be released according to the county Extension staff unless the proper documentation has been submitted.
Exhibitors or families wishing to pick up their own static exhibits from the Nebraska State Fair must complete an Exhibit Hall Release form and submit it to their local Extension office before August 22. The Exhibit Hall Release form may be obtained from your local Extension office. Proper paperwork must be signed by the exhibitor/family and county Extension staff. This form gives non-Extension personnel permission to pick up items after the fair. The designated person listed on the form will be responsible for picking up the item(s). Exhibits which have properly completed and submitted release forms may be picked up by the designated person on Monday, September 2 from 7:00 PM-10:00 PM or Tuesday, September 3 from 8:00 AM-noon. Exhibits must be checked out before being removed from the exhibit hall. The person picking up the exhibit must be ready to sign for the exhibit and show their identification.
